The search is the Story

It is Fiction Friday time again and in this week’s episode we have Wicked saying, “The search is the Story” of enlightenment. The word enlightenment is defined as awareness or understanding along with many other synonyms to describe its meaning: Such as insight, open-mindedness, comprehension, along with many other words to describe its intangible meaning like knowledge or wisdom or refinement.

Wicked has been searching for a story of enlightenment to see the light in this here and now moment. Aren’t we all searching for some kind of enlightenment in life? Philosophically pondering the existence of enlightenment, has Wicked, searching for something like the forbidden fruit from a tree of the knowledge of good and evil, but he doesn’t want to condemn his soul in the process.

Wicked was pondering the thought That enlightenment could be as simple as having the courage to relying on one’s own understanding of life. This kind of simplicity in finding enlightenment is just far too easily obtained. Surely the road to finding a mystical place called nirvana cannot be so easily obtained? But Wicked has been known to make many of the things in his life much more difficult to obtain then they should be. So Wicked will keep searching for this story of enlightenment in life even though he realizes it is just relying on his own understanding.
