I am often confused by the terminology of what my writing is about: “What is your story Today?” Because I was reading Annie’s article Guest writing over at the Write Anything site, and I’ve decided to use the thoughts her post has brought to mind as my writing prompt for today. I guess one could say that I’ve been a guest writer at their site, because of the Say It On Saturday posts I’ve published at their site. Although my entries on the Saturday feature are not the same as being a guest writer, it’s probably close enough for me to make the statement…At least my entries weren’t removed from their site, which pleases me.
The point I’m trying to make is that when I write I have a hard time staying on the subject with what I am saying. Which I feel makes what I write about a combination of many different types of communication and what is known as blogging. There isn’t just one particular thing about writing each day as my inspiration to continue to write, but a variety of reasons all spelled out in the words showing up on the page. Like what I wrote about on the previous days (the journaling) on this date of the year when I Printed My Blog! or in this post about trying to Write Early.
And as you can see by my writing today in this post that only confirms what I’m talking about here is the egotistical side of my writing like I was talking about in this post Writing: When I’ve got nothing to Say! I want to say, “Thank You!” to Annie for inspiring me to write this “story?” today. Although, you may be a little lost as to what any of this has to do with her article? and I don’t blame you, me either. But that is what I’m talking about, “What is your story Today?”
Thanks for Listening,
