Celebrating the Blessed Virgin Mary

Today is the Feast of the Immaculate Conception and I am “Celebrating the Blessed Virgin Mary” as the mother of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior! I believe in the Immaculate Conception as told by the Angel Gabriel in The Birth of Jesus Foretold from the Scripture of Luke in the Bible. I also read this article today Hail Mary, Full of Grace which I liked, explaining how significant this holy day is, much better than I ever could…But I wanted to write about this holy celebration and feast today as a Christian to honor Mary, mother of Jesus.

One of the reasons I’m writing about this today is the Advent: “is a season observed in many Western Christian churches, a time of expectant waiting and preparation for the celebration of the Nativity of Jesus at Christmas.” This is My Advent Calendar I made last year, and the year before that, I did the Twelve Days of Christmas, in a non traditional way. And I don’t know at this point, what I am going to be writing about this year. Maybe I just shouldn’t be worrying so much about what I’m going to write about and say each day, too!

Relaxing and basking in the moment comes to mind as I try to come to some sort of conclusion to my writing today. Realizing the true meaning of this time of year with peace, love, and joy is foremost in my mind. Be blessed and enjoy this celebration of the Mother of our Lord!

Thanks for Listening,
