Shoveling snow on Washington’s Birthday

I was “Shoveling snow on Washington’s Birthday” and today is his actual birthday. I wrote about it being Washington’s Birthday? or Presidents’ Day! a week ago. I was busy outside today shoveling the snow off the sidewalk and driveway, but I didn’t hear anything about it being our countries first president’s birthday. Other than it is written on my calendar as a reminder. So happy birthday George! I hope you’re having more fun than I had today shoveling the snow. I’m really tired, and my arms and legs are sore, from shoveling all of that heavy wet snow today.

I guess we got about 7” of new snowfall out of this last storm. I had just got done shoveling the driveway and went in the house to take a shower. When I looked outside the snowplow had went by and filled the driveway with a 4’ pile of snow. So it was back outside to shovel the driveway again. It’s late at night an I really couldn’t think of anything to write about earlier today. So I’m trying to write this post, but I’m having trouble concentrating.

Mondays are usually a bad day for writing for me anyway. So I’m going to say good night and hope for something to write about tomorrow. But really what difference does it make? As I’m still getting my writing practice done for today. An at the moment I really feel like I need the practice!

Thanks for Listening,
