The Commanded Blessing!

It is a beautiful summer’s Sunday, and Joel Osteen’s message, is titled “The Commanded Blessing!” (Emphasis Mine) These are my notes that I took as I watched and listened to Joel’s broadcast today: This commanded blessing is found in Deuteronomy, if we will live a life that honors God, and obey His Word. In the natural we cannot even understand the blessings that God has in store for us. When we walk in obedience to our Lord God, where ever we go the blessings will follow. We can flourish, even in the desert, be it the will of God, for us, to do so. Here is a key: Don’t let the negativity of this world discourage you, in these hard economic times…God didn’t make us to just survive, He has crated us to thrive, to have more than enough!

Every day, before we go out to face the world, we should be thanking God for His goodness and mercy. Get your mind going in the right direction by living abundantly minded, not barely get by minded. God wants to bless you in ways to make others envious of what you have, He will bless you with His favor, because you are a child of God. Expecting God’s blessing by faith will allow Him to supernaturally provide for us each day. Break the idea of lack in your life today, this is a new day and get ready for increase!

Joel quoted these verses of Scripture:

This is the information from This Week’s Message page about today’s broadcast titled The Commanded Blessing by Joel Osteen:

The Creator of the universe has put a commanded blessing on you. Deuteronomy 28 says that when you live a life that honors God and obey His Word, blessings are commanded to chase you down and overtake you. His commanded blessing will cause you to rise out of lack into abundance, out of barely getting by into overflow where supernatural increase is experienced. His commanded blessing on your life will cause you to prosper in spite of your circumstances because when you walk in obedience, wherever you go, the blessing goes.

God has commanded blessing on His children!

Thanks for Listening,
