God’s Hedge of Protection

On this snowy autumn Sunday Joel Osteen’s  message is titled “God’s Hedge of Protection” surrounds us each day. These are my notes that I took as I watched and listened to Joel’s broadcast: The words for today’s title are from what was written on the TV this morning, but on Joel’s site the title is Hedge of Protection. In this very dangerous world, where trouble is all around us, we are all in need of God’s hedge of protection. Joel made reference to this song  U Can’t Touch This by MC Hammer and how the enemy can’t touch us when we are protected by God in our lives. Whom shall we be afraid of with All Mighty God on our side? No one, that’s who! We should be living in faith and not fear in our Lord God’s protection for us.

Joel quoted these verses of Scripture:

This is the information from This Week’s Message page about today’s broadcast titled Hedge of Protection by Joel Osteen:

It is a great relief to know we don’t have to go through life on our own, hoping everything works out, hoping to be safe from all harm. Psalm 121:5-8 (The Message) says, “God’s your Guardian, right at your side to protect you… God guards you from every evil, He guards your very life. He guards you when you leave and when you return, He guards you now, He guards you always.” When we honor God with our lives and acknowledge Him in all we do, then we are covered with His divine hedge of protection. We are set free from fearing sickness, accidents or anything that can happen to us because there is nothing that can penetrate His hedge of protection without His permission. There is no reason to live afraid anymore. The greatest Guardian is there by your side, and His angelic forces go before you to protect you each day. Are you letting fear steal your peace and joy each day because you are worried about what will happen to you and your family? Learn to let it go and rest in God’s protection. There is no safer place to rest than in His hand!

Be blessed today by God’s hedge of protection in your life!

Thanks for Listening,
