On this Memorial Day Weekend: Sunday, Joel Osteen’s message is a repeat titled “Connecting with the Right People,” and click the link for my notes, if you’d like to read them? These are my notes that I took, as I watched and listened to Joel’s broadcast, again today. Please feel free to Click Here for today’s Podcast to listen to it for yourself. I like to use Joel’s words, for my inspiration to write on Sundays, as I’m learning how to write by writing. I don’t really know if writing is part of my destiny in life, but I enjoy the challenge of writing each day: Sharing my thoughts here at my site, with the title of My Unique Life in Windows Live Space, and the tagline of Writing just to Write. The message to connect with the right people, should make us evaluate our friendships, in life. The people in our inner circle are the ones we need to trust. Are your friends making you stronger?
Having the right people in your life, will help you fulfill your destiny. God has already brought the right people in your life. People that will inspire you, and make you feel good about succeeding, in life. You are a child of the Most High God; you have seeds of greatness in you. There is no mistake you’ve made that is too much for the mercy of God. With God’s help there is no obstacle too great that we cannot overcome this difficulty and fulfill our purpose in life.
Joel quoted these verses of Scripture:
This is the information from This Week’s Message page about today’s broadcast titled Connecting with the Right People by Joel Osteen:
Proverbs 27:17 says, “As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.” One of the keys to fulfilling your God-given destiny and finding success is by surrounding yourself with the right people.
That means connecting with those who celebrate you, encourage you and lift you up. If you’re going to become all God has created you to be, you have to get around the right people that will speak life, faith and vision into your future.
Unfortunately, many people live below their full potential because they never get away from the wrong people in their lives, like those that constantly tell them what they can’t do and who they can’t become. That doesn’t have to be you.
Don’t waste another moment with people that don’t sharpen you, celebrate who you are and make you a better person. Life is short. Make your friendships count.
Trust God because He’s already arranged the right people to come into your life to inspire you, challenge you, help you grow and accomplish your dreams!
Trust God to bring the right people in to your life!
Thanks for Listening,
