I had absolutely no idea that the simple act of “Changing thoughts into Words” could be so complicated. It certainly sounds simple enough to me but then I found out that this is a conduit metaphor: “operates whenever people speak or write as if they “insert” their mental contents (feelings, meanings, thoughts, concepts, etc.) into “containers” (words, phrases, sentences, etc.) whose contents are then “extracted” by listeners and readers.“ But then I suppose that one can make anything as simple or complex as they desire it to be.
One’s metal content: “Examples include thoughts, concepts, memories, emotions, percepts and intentions.” These can be whatever I feel I’m capable of sharing with all of you today. I really had no intention of today’s post being so complicated when I chose this title. But somehow my thoughts have taken a turn into the unknown and I really have no idea where I’m heading with my writing now?
Maybe the reason that I’ve got no idea where I’m heading now, is because I had no idea where I was going when I started my writing practice today? And I’ve written about how I just start typing each day to see what turns up on the page. But I didn’t have a clue about getting into all this today? I just wanted to write about changing my thoughts into words and it really shouldn’t be this complicated.
Thanks for Listening,
