On this cold and sunny day, as we say farewell to the last Sunday in the month of February, and Joel Osteen’s message is “It’s Under Your Feet,” farewell difficulties. These are my notes that I took as I watched and listened to Joel’s broadcast. Please feel free to Click Here for today’s Podcast to listen to it for yourself. If we’re going to live in victory we need to see our difficulties as being under our feet. The first place that we may lose the victory is in our mind.
We need to keep our faith in God strong and see our enemies as being under our feet and already defeated. If we keep the right perspective in life our struggles will be trampled under our feet. When we are at peace in our lives, we are in a position of power knowing that God is in control.
Joel quoted these verses of Scripture:
This is the information from This Week’s Message page about today’s broadcast titled It’s Under Your Feet by Joel Osteen:
The way we see difficulties will determine how we get out of them. When we face challenges, it’s easy to grow overwhelmed thinking it’s never going to work out, or adopt the attitude, “I’ll learn to live with it” and settle there.
But 1 Corinthians 15:27 says God has put all things under His feet. If you will see obstacles, difficulties, struggles and lack as being under God’s feet, already defeated, then a new boldness will rise up and your faith will activate God’s power in a new way. What was meant to be a stumbling block will become a stepping stone leading you to a new level of your God-given destiny.
May God bless you this Sunday and always!
