On this Easter Sunday I am saying, “Alleluia! ‘He has Risen!’ Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ has risen from the dead.” And Joel Osteen’s message is a repeat today titled “God Will Bring You To A Flourishing Finish,” and you can click the link to read my previous entry about today’s message. These are my notes that I took as I watched and listened to Joel’s broadcast again today. Please feel free to Click Here for today’s Podcast to listen to it, for yourself.
As believers this is the promise God makes to us. You may go through times of trouble and have disappointments in your life, but you’ve got to remind yourself that God never ends in defeat. When all is said and done we as believers in God will be the victors and not the victims. God will see us through into a flourishing finish in our lives. Jesus has shown us the way to victory by believing in God. Our new destination awaits us and God says all will be well. We need to remind ourselves to keep moving forward into the victory God has planned for us.
Joel quoted these verses of Scripture:
This is the information from This Week’s Message page about today’s broadcast titled God Will Bring You To A Flourishing Finish by Joel Osteen:
Disappointment is not the final chapter in life. God never ends in a negative. Philippians 1:6 says, “Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” (NIV)
If you will keep moving forward with your life in faith, God promises that He will bring you to a flourishing finish. Not a defeated finish, a bankrupt finish, a betrayed finish, a barely-get-by finish. No, God has a victorious finish in your future. Remember, for every setback, God has already lined up a comeback; for every injustice, vindication; for every disappointment, restoration and new beginnings. Just keep moving forward with Him!
Be blessed on Resurrection Sunday and always!
Thanks for Listening,
