Looking at the Past

Lately I’ve been obsessed with “Looking at the Past;” wondering about the future… AndCrystal Ball today’s writing prompt is from my post last year on this date titled Gazing off into the Future with these words from the post: “Who knows what the future holds? As we see each day unfold doing our best to enjoy life and fulfill our destiny serving our purpose.“  These words seem as prevalent to me today as they did back then.

In the previous year I wrote about Pieces of This and Bits of That and here’s a quote: “Maybe these thoughts have something to do with all this future planning I’ve been talking about? But really these material things are not what life is about, enjoying each day in a spiritual way and being grateful for this wonderful world with its beauty all around.“ This still holds meaning for me today.

This is from Whatever Shall I Say?My conscience throws a fit when I just write these thoughts like this, but whatever shall I say when I feel like writing just this way? I squirm, and turn, and wiggle, and jerk, when the words like this show up upon the page, but all I’m really doing is getting my writing therapy for today.

Although I’m a little reluctant to mention My First Video! As the post which was on the year before that and here’s a quote: “At this point in time, I really don’t know how I feel about having the video on the Internet. I want to accomplish getting over the fact that I feel so paranoid about it. Using video could open up a whole new world of communication for me and I think the possibilities are endless.“ And at the moment I really have no idea why I’m sharing this video post again today?

And the year before that I was posting The Secret Check and here is a picture:

The Secret Check $100,000,000 Today

So this concludes my writing practice for the day, and I always feel like I’m cheating on my practice by copying and pasting quotes. But by posting these quotes from my previous entries it does give me something to write about. As I look back at the past because the future is unknown!

Thanks for Listening,
