Run Your Race

Hope from Joel Osteen Downloads

On this Detroit Indy Grand Prix Sunday Joel Osteen’s message is titled “Run Your Race,” and is that a coincidence or what? These are my notes that I took as I watched and listened to Joel’s broadcast today. Please feel free to Click Here for Reclinertoday’s Podcast to listen to it for yourself. Although I’ve recently ended my writing challenge I still feel the need to try and record my thoughts about Joel’s message.

We all need to run our own race in life and to not let other people change who God has created us to be. We are all unique individuals and we need to live our own lives. As I’m writing down these notes today: I’m wondering if they are for my benefit or for yours and really what difference does it make? I enjoy listening to Joel’s words and writing down my thoughts.

Joel quoted these verses of Scripture:

This is the information from This Week’s Message page about today’s broadcast titled Run Your Race by Joel Osteen:

The same God that opens doors will close doors. Maybe you prayed and didn’t get the job you really wanted or a relationship didn’t work out. It’s easy to allow rejection to lead to discouragement and think that God is not working in your life. But God sees the bigger picture for your life. He knows where every road is leading and where the dead ends are.

Proverbs 20:24 says, “A person’s steps are directed by the Lord. How then can anyone understand their own way?” When you realize you are in the palm of God’s hand and that nothing happens without His divine purpose, then you will begin to see and realize that the closed doors are just as important as the open doors.

God will bless you when you run your race!

Thanks for Listening,
