Hit the Delete Button: Autumn

Hope from Joel Osteen Downloads

This Sunday is the first full day of the autumn season, and Joel Osteen’s message is a repeat titled “Hit the Delete Button,” on those negative thoughts in your mind. ReclinerHere is a link to my previous notes on today’s message, and these are my notes that I took today as I watched and listened to Joel’s broadcast again. Please feel free to Click Here for today’s Podcast, to listen to it for yourself.

Joel’s reminder again today to “hit the delete button” on my negative thoughts about myself is something that I need to hear repeated over and over again. Because as Joel says, “You can’t go through the day thinking negative thoughts and expect to live in victory, your life is going to follow your thoughts.” Deleting the negative thoughts on my mind like: Who wants to hear what I have to say? This will help me to become all that God has created me to be and to be able to enjoy life more.

Joel quoted these verses of Scripture:

This is the information from This Week’s Message page about today’s broadcast titled Hit the Delete Button by Joel Osteen:

Our mind is like a computer. The way we program it will determine how it’s going to function. Just like a virus can slow down a perfectly good, working computer, our wrong thinking can slow down our destiny. In fact, our lives follow our thoughts.

If you’re going to live in victory, you have to learn to hit the delete button and silence the negative thoughts. Romans 12:2 says to “Renew your mind with God’s Word.” Turn off the negative recording that’s reminding you of everything you’re not and start reprogramming your mind with God’s Word and who He says you are.

Receive God’s blessing by deleting the negative mindset!

Thanks for Listening,

       Jeff
