Goodbye Spaces: Hello WordPress!

Winnie the Pooh & Piglet With only one day left to write here at this site because Windows Live Spaces is going Away it’s “Goodbye Spaces: Hello WordPress!” Tomorrow will be my final blog post here at this site before I start writing each day at my new WordPress site. Today’s entryCrystal Ball will be my 1500th consecutive day of blogging something here at this site. I’ll be closing this chapter of my writing experience here at this site. Can my 1500th day of blogging and this the end of Windows Live Spaces, be some kind of strange coincidental fluke, or is this fact just a message to which I do not understand?

This reminds me of my post titled The rest is still Unwritten! as I still feel the need to write. I’ll be starting a new chapter in this my book of life as I write each day. I’ve been obsessing over moving this site My Unique Life in Windows Live Space, and I’ve decided to leave it here. This site will stay here intact for the time being; because I’ve got until March to move it, before it gets deleted.

The thought here being I don’t know how to use the WordPress site yet, and I talked about trying to post this Fiction Friday entry without success. So I’ll be trying to “Learn Something New” again, Computerby writing at WordPress each day, getting familiar with using their site, before I move this one.

Because my time is running out to post anymore entries at Windows Live Spaces. I’ve decided to post this entry in about me at WordPress. Making this transition from Windows Live Spaces to WordPress is not going to be easy for me. But I’ll continue to try and write each day doing my best to communicate in writing what’s on my mind!

Thanks for Listening,

Jeff

Well you “Loving it” it so far? How was the transition? Whatever happened with the stuff you moved to Blogger because you had trouble using here?

WLW working well for you with WP?

Also are you using the final release of IE9? And is that the only web browser you use?

Have a have a great day!

I don’t know if I’d go so far as to say that “I’m Loving it” here in WordPress. But I’m doing my best to adjust to the changes and to continue with the challenge I made to myself in Windows Live Spaces to try and post something every day.

I can say that “I’m Loving the features here in WordPress,” like having my statistics page back again. The transition of moving my blog posts from Windows Live Spaces to this new WordPress site went great. I’m amazed at how well the migration of my blog entries went and how all the links work and everything, it is Great!

I had to edit all my background table blog posts, because they weren’t compatible here with WordPress, but I put links to all of them at my Blogger site. My Windows Live Writer is working great here at WordPress. Except for the fact that I have to open the Windows Live Writer in the InPrivate mode of the Internet Explorer 9 (which is my browser by choice) in order to keep the Writer software from closing.

You have a Great Day too and Thanks for stopping by!

    Well that all good then.
Now I used Windows Live Writer 2011 and Internet Explorer 9 for my new post yesterday and I had no problems at all!
So I am now curious to what happening with WLW which I love and IE9…
