I thought it would be fun to write about “Making your way on 4/9/2011,” and the idea came from one of my previous entries Making your way in the World today. But the ironic thing about today’s title is that I did a Google search on the words and discovered that I’d already used this same title back on May 14, 2009. So I’ve changed the title to make it more date specific and the idea here is to write about: What’s going on in the World today? The Cheers Theme Song just seems to fit right in to whatever is happening in the news each day.
For example: “Making your way in the world today takes everything you’ve got.” The United States government decides not to shutdown (Click here for Video) because doing nothing is just too easy. “Taking a break from all of your worries sure would help a lot.” Here is a video where President Obama “announces that House Republicans and Democrats have come to a tentative agreement on a government budget bill.” which is to assure us the government is working. “Wouldn’t you like to get away? Sometimes you want to go: Where everybody knows your name,” Like all the members of the United States Congress, “and they’re always glad you came.” Who may not be so glad if every American said, “Get on with the job at hand…Making the United States of America the greatest nation in the World!”
So that’s what I’m talking about today making my way on April 9, 2011 and although this entry has shown some of my rhetoric with these words. It is about keeping America moving forward and not letting politics keep our representatives from doing the job they were elected to do.
Thanks for Listening,
Jeff
